I'm a female singer-songwriter looking to form an original band (influences: David Rawlings & Gillian Welch, Patty Griffin, Joe Pug, Gram Parsons & Emmylou Harris, John Prine). Looking for a really strong harmony singer - great if you play Guitar, Pedal Steel/ Lap Steel, or other instruments that can fill the roll of lead or fill out a band. I had a few bands in NYC that I gigged regularly with, and am looking to form a really special band in the AVL area. I sing lead & harmony, write, & play Electric Wurlitzer Keyboard. Currently have been playing with a great songwriter in town & looking to add some layers.
