Gasoline and Diesel Technicians - Mobile Technicians too! Independent Medium Duty and Heavy-Duty Maintenance Center, located in the NE side of San Antonio, and expanding to Loop-410/Hwy 16 and Austin, TX near the Tesla Manufacturing facility. DGG is seeking a reliable, responsible, customer service driven and savvy, eager to learn, punctual technician. DGG offers a professional family driven work environment, with competitive pay, and generous bonus structure. Pay: TBD with commission incentives. Job Type: Full-time Schedule: First shift M-F 7am to 3pm Second shift M-F 11am to 7pm Saturdays: 8am - 3pm Stable Family Owned and Operated Business with a Steady Growth. Experience: Minimum of 1-year Maintenance and Repairs Parts: 1 year (Preferred) Good Written and verbal communication skills required Valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no major violations -CDL a plus! Responsibilities • Making sure vehicles are maintained and road safe • Doing preventative maintenance repairs—like replacing or rotating tires—and completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles • Partnering with your manager to learn new skills using DGG’s technician training and hands-on coaching Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. • Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services. • Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment. • Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs. • Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs and requisitions new parts. • Performs all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs). • Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns. • Conducts safety checks on vehicles. • Diesel work duties typically include all aspects of truck repair other than bodywork, to include computer diagnostics on engine/transmission/chassis, emissions system repairs, transmission/clutch/linkage; electrical; starting systems; engine PM; A/C; and other typical truck repairs • Trailer repair duties typically include checking running gear including brakes, tires/wheels, air systems, suspension, electrical systems & lights • Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. • Assists senior Mechanics in the completion of project work. • Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
