Learn about edible plants and campus planning and design on this outdoor tour.
The tour of the grounds and garden will be led by Michael Gildea, Garden and Grounds Manager at the Chevy Chase Club.
After a general overview, you'll learn about the Chef’s Garden and the use of edible plants and trees that produce edible fruit. Then the focus will be on campus planning and design and horticulture and plants.

Campus Planning and Design
Historic Preservation (preservation of trees)
Horticulture / Plants
Residential Design
Water / Stormwater management

As a member benefit, registration is only open to current Potomac Chapter members through September 27. Non-Potomac Chapter members can also register beginning at noon on September 28.
Potomac ASLA is the Potomac Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), the national professional association representing landscape architects.
Potomac ASLA was founded to advocate for and serve members studying and practicing landscape architecture in the Greater Washington, DC region, including northern Virginia and suburban Maryland.
