Are you hungry for LOBSTERS? Just for lobster lovers like you, the Kiwanis Club of Lynchburg is trucking in 2,000 fresh lobsters from Maine Are you hungry for LOBSTERS? Just for lobster lovers like you, the Kiwanis Club of Lynchburg is trucking over 2,000 fresh lobsters from Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The lobsters will be taken from the waters in Boothbay, packed live in seaweed with cold packs in coolers and delivered to the YMCA Express parking lot on Saturday, November 6, 2021 for pick up between 10am and 11am. NEW(ish) LOCATION!!! The lobsters (which average 1.25 pounds) are $20 each. Kiwanis will happily cook your lobster for an additional $2 each. The "tickets" are available in quantities of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 (saves on the CC transaction fee!). If you need a different number please send me a message and I'll make a ticket for any number you want! If you want to order by check, mail to PO Box 4372, Lynchburg, VA 24502. Include the number of lobsters you want, live or cooked, your name/address/phone number and a check! Checks must be received by November 1. This is the Kiwanis Club's 19th annual Lobster Sale! All proceeds will go to our community projects and support of our Service Leadership Programs including our 7 Key Clubs, 4 CKI Clubs and Terrific Kids program. Kiwanis members dedicate more than 18 million volunteer hours and invest more than $107 million annually in projects that strengthen communities and serve children. We help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged and care for the sick. We develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research and much more.
