Learn about Early Childhood and Grade School education at the Charlottesville Waldorf School. Tour the classrooms and our beautiful, 10+ acre campus, and learn about how the Waldorf curriculum provides a multi-cultural, developmentally accurate, experience-based education for the whole child–respecting and nurturing the innate abilities of each child as they move through the elementary and middle school years. CWS offers a Waldorf early childhood program from Toddler through Kindergarten, and a full grade school program with a rich selection of specialty classes including movement, handwork, Spanish, gardening, woodwork, and orchestra. Teachers from our early childhood and grade school programs will be on hand to share information from their classes and answer questions. This open house is free and open to the public. Children are welcome to attend with their parents to explore the playground and meet the teachers!
