Anybody else exhibit strength that you feel is easy to exert just to find out you did something freakish? I don’t mean this to brag, I’m not some six pack rocking gym nut. I just want to know what’s happening with my body. I am by appearance out of shape. I have a gut. But I do things that people call impossible. I went to a gym and broke the 2000m record on the rowing machine my first day. A friend of mine had a loaded uhaul trailer roll over his legs, I grabbed it by the hitch and tilted it back far enough and he got out. If I can’t park a mo-ped I just pick it up and make it fit. I really don’t want any sort of praise, I want to understand my body. People view this all as me bragging and dismiss it. Im not scared but I’m curious about it all. Im 26 years old, 5’9, 175 pounds. Not in shape. Never tried to get strong. But I do things people say I shouldn’t be able to do. The most extreme case was I pushed a totally dead car in neutral out of an uphill ditch. The slope was pretty extreme and I wouldn’t say it was easy, there was some hard effort. But I knew I could do it. Can anyone help explain wtf is up with me? Again, I am OUT OF SHAPE. By all standards I am chunky.
