We build leaders for better and safer communities by ensuring veterans and their families are supported during their transition process. The Veterans Transition Success Coalition prepares transitioning military service members and their families to fully connect with civilian life, local community resources, and navigate earned benefits that will enable their success and prevent "stalled" transitions. We will have sessions on transitioning to civilian life that include: EmploymentVeteran real estate/loan programsFinancial LiteracyHealthcare resources/plansBring your family to enjoy food trucks, craft booths by military spouses, and much more! Day of Schedule of Events8:00-8:30 am - Welcome-Opening Remarks 8:30-8:45 am - Overview of Transition Begin Breakout Sessions (Employment, Homebuying/Loans, Financial Literacy, Health/Wellness) *All four topics will be offered during all 4 sessions, so they may be attended in any order 9:00-9:40 am - Session 1 9:45-10:25 am - Session 2 10:30-11:10 am - Session 3 11:15 - 12:00 pm - Session 4 12:00-12:45 pm - Lunch/Q&A 12:00-3:00 pm - Enjoy the music & festivities Family & Friends of Veterans:Craft booths and activities will be offered outside during the breakout sessions for your enjoyment.
