On November 24, 2021, the non-profit, Pure Religion, is asking anyone and everyone to participate in a one-night mass bed build for kids. On November 24, 2021 , the non-profit, Pure Religion, is asking anyone and everyone to participate in a one-night mass bed build for our grace emBEDded ministry.  Our goal is to pull together to assemble 100 beds for children facing placement into the foster system.  These beds could possibly be the very thing that keeps them from ever entering the Texas foster system in Smith county.  Come join us for our 7th Annual grace emBEDded Bed Build at Green Acres Baptist Church the night before Thanksgiving.  What better way to start the giving season!  Come give your time for the sake of a child. IMPORTANT DETAILS: The event is broken out into 1 hr. time slots this year, so pick the slot that best fits the time you can serve.  You can choose to serve in more than one time slot, but PLEASE only sign up for slots you intend to fill.  Also, do not stay at your station after your time slot is completed to ensure that everyone gets a chance to participate. You may check at the check-in table at the end of your time slot to see if there is a spot for you to fill during subsequent times that you have not registered for. Please make sure you are feeling well on the night of the event. If you believe you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or other illness, please stay home out of precaution for others. Pure Religion is an orphan care outreach ministry existing to educate, equip and encourage the church to meet the needs of at risk children and strengthen their families locally and world-wide.As Christians we are called to love and serve God with every aspect of our being. Mark 12:30 says "Love the Lord with all you heart, soul, mind and strength."  We care for abused, neglected, and orphaned children because we have been cared for in Jesus.  It is one of the clearest expressions of the heart of God and one of the PUREST ways to present the gospel to the world.
