Job Title: Appliance Delivery Helper Job Category: Delivery Department Job Type: Full-time Bray and Scarff is one of the nation's largest independent appliance retailers serving the DMV and surrounding market. As an Appliance Delivery helper with Bray and Scarff, you will deliver a premier customer service experience by utilizing a people-first attitude and excellent interpersonal skills. You will support our customers, with accuracy and efficiency, while maintaining the relationships between departments and servicing customer needs. You are a skilled appliance delivery helper with the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service to achieve an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities: • Provide timely and attentive service to all customers • Obey all traffic laws while transporting merchandise to customers’ homes • Deliver merchandise to customers home properly and in a professional manner • Complete all required paperwork according to company standards • Protect company assets by following proper policies as it relates to customer delivery procedures: • Maintain proper customer delivery logs and documentation • Clean and maintain assigned company vehicle and equipment • Inspect vehicle load for damages prior to warehouse departure • Complete a vehicle inspection report at the beginning and end of the shift; attach to run log • Follow company procedures regarding trash and debris disposal • Ability to perform proper lifting, pulling and pushing of equipment and products in excess of 400 pounds using merchandise moving equipment • Follow company notification procedures if/when an injury, damage to company vehicle, traffic accident or traffic citation occur • Execute other duties as assigned Skills/Qualifications: • Prior delivery experience preferred but not required; training provided • A valid driver’s license • A clean driving record • Ability to work independently • Must be 25 + years of age (to operate company provided vehicle) Bray & Scarff is an equal opportunity employer.
