If someone has a puppy up for adoption and they are requesting money for a deposit, it is a scam. Legitimate breeders do not ask for a deposit to hold a puppy. Unless, the puppy is newborn and you go see the puppy and pick which one you want and put a deposit down. BE CAREFUL.
