Learn how to lead a safe and fun group bike ride
PeopleForBikes is hosting a community training session for folks interested in leading a group ride. Leading a bike ride is a great way to get more people on bikes, gain leadership skills, and build confidence. Having the right skills to do that is the key to hosting a great ride.
The class is for every type of bike rider and skill level and will cover what to do before, during, and after a ride to ensure ride participants have the best experience possible and come back for more rides. The class will be taught by BICP Level 1 certified mountain bike instructors that are CPR and First Aid certified, and certified bicycle technicians. Class time will be split between in-person instruction, hands-on learning, and Ride Spot training. The instructors will have extra supplies, but feel free to bring your own bikes and laptop. The class size will be limited to 10 participants.
Beverages and snacks will be available during the class.
