NORTH PORT, FL — A North Port man faces 40 charges related to child pornography possession, North Port police shared on Facebook. Police conducted a search warrant related to inappropriate images involving children in the 7500 block of Joppa Street Monday. When the search was completed, Douglas Ben Sanders, 57, was arrested and charged with 40 counts of possession of an image or video of child pornography, police said. He is in custody without bond and is being held at the Sarasota County Jail.
