South Indian Set Menu
Sometimes the garden tell you exactly what to cook, and this is one of those times. This meal will include some of my favorite South Indian dishes, prepared almost entirely with vegetables from the garden - I’m excited to share them with y’all. Each meal set serves 4 - only a limited number will be available.
- gongura pappu - spiced lentils cooked with tangy roselle hibiscus leaves
-kalan - pumpkin & potato in coconut/yogurt curry
-manga pachadi - green mango coconut yogurt relish
-carrot pooriyal - carrots stirfried with ginger & spices
- rice
-rava kesari - buttery semolina pudding with raisins, cashews and cardamom

Chef Josh Haynes is a native of Birmingham, AL, and in addition to working in some of the best restaurants in Birmingham spent a year studying in Bangkok, Thailand, surrounded by traditional cuisine. In particular, he is inspired by the remnants of Royal cuisine that linger in Bangkok, and the old-fashioned regional dishes of the Kingdom.
