The Lancaster Community Connectors & Crispus Attucks Community Center is holding a Block Party on Saturday October 2 from 12-4 pm. Lancaster Community Connectors was created in response to the increased trauma affecting the community and members of Lancaster city. We are mental health professionals and volunteers looking to provide connection resources for individuals in need to local resources and provide a safe space to be heard. Their mission is to make connections to ensure use of resources in our community to help support and fill needs that are not currently being filled. By partnering with local mental health resources, community aid supports and spiritual resources we are setting a stage to begin healing and forging ahead as one. They've partnered with the Crispus Attucks Community Center to hold a Block Party on Saturday October 2, 2021 from 12-4pm. Join us for some music, games, food and more! All are welcome to attend for FREE. The Community Action Partnership is Lancaster County’s largest anti-poverty organization, helping low-income families move toward self-sufficiency. CAP’s service profile interrupts inter-generational poverty with programs that support families and individuals at every age and place in life, in the areas of education and child development, health and nutrition, household stability and safety and empowerment.
