How Many Terminations Has Burt Demchick Been Involved In, Total?

Description

So, let's pretend that a guy gets a job as a database administrator, leverages himself into a position in management that he is morally unfit to fill, and then finds himself involved in an unlawful termination, manages to ride it out, and gets promoted. Let's say he gets promoted to VP. Let's say, as VP, he is now intimately involved in lots of terminations. Let's pretend that thirty years pass, and then everyone discovers this guy lied, 'way back, thirty years ago. Does this mean that everything else he has been involved in - PARTICULARLY terminations - needs to be scrutinized, perhaps even tried, ALL OVER? A windfall for the lawyers! Not so much for the litigants, whose lives were ruined... eh? Honestly, it has been my observation that the fastest route to job security is to be the manager of someone who was unlawfully terminated - the employer will never, ever let the manager go, now, they don't want him testifying against them. Fast-forward this process for ten or twenty years and you will see the upper ranks of a company become packed with defiant and unapologetic criminals, who keep getting raises - at the expense of everyone else. Explains a lot, doesn't it? Food for thought.
