Looking for Musical collaborators

...they say that CL is not the forum to look for musicians anymore, but until I find a new one, let me try: I am looking for older, well worn and experienced musicians who just enjoy playing music with other people or have songs they want to hear performed by a good band. Drummer, bass player, keys and guitars who love their instrument but understand that it should be ultimately about the song and not necessarily about them. There is always time to "show off" your skills when you get a solo. As we have all found out along the way, music is personal and one has to be able to let one's guard down, among friends, people we like and trust...another consideration is proximity: I have made that mistake myself before, when I thought I could make it to San Rafael from my place once a week; it doesnt work, people have to be physically close to one another. I have "written" a lot of songs some of which I will have to relearn and others, which I have performed many times I know by heart. I play drums, keyboards and guitar; drums probably not as good as the other two instruments. It would be nice to have at least one or two multi instrumentalists so we can play musical chairs. My studio is in my house and it is well equipped, you only have to bring your guitar or not even that if you want too play my PRS ES (2); drums, keyboards (even a real C3& Leslie) are already here. You should have a liking for rock'n roll, blues and a wide horizon...you can check out my creations on Reverbnation, just look for the Vudu Cowboys, thats me right now. The posted songs have been performed by myself and were recorded in my studio. thats it. I hope I get a lot of responses because I'm looking forward to playing in a complete band again.
