The Haunted Book Shop is going goth with three local Southern Gothic authors celebrating new novels, ghostly stories, and demonic tales. Join us during the Spooky LoDa ArtWalk to meet Jodie Cain Smith, author of the novel-in-stories, BAYOU CRESTING: THE WANTING WOMEN OF HUET POINTE and the coming-of-age, THE WOODS AT BARLOW BEND. Carrie Dalby, author of the Southern Gothic family saga, The Possession Chronicles, set here in Mobile and across the bay. Candice Marley Conner, author of the YA Southern mystery, THE EXISTENCE OF BEA PEARL (and for the littles, the picture book SASSAFRAS AND HER TEENY TINY TAIL) Masks are required and costumes are encouraged.
