Press release from the Beverly Public Library:
September 29, 2021
We have an exciting new addition to our Library of Things:
iPads! Our collection of twenty iPads come preloaded with curated apps for your enjoyment, customized by age level for adults, teens, and children. Curious about making art with Procreate? Always wanted to try reading an eBook, but didn't have a device? Want your child to experience fun and educational apps selected by our children's librarians? Request an iPad today, and enjoy it at home for up to three weeks.
Thanks to an initiative by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) the library has fifteen T-Mobile hotspots to lend to the community. Hotspots are available at all locations and circulate for three weeks. Borrowers must be 17 years or older. The MBLC Public Library Mobile Hotspot Lending Program is funded through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), and focuses on IMLS' primary goal for these funds, digital inclusion.
