GREENWICH, CT — Police said a 37-year-old Greenwich resident is accused of identity theft stemming from an incident that occurred earlier this year. According to Lt. Martin O'Reilly, Eldrege Christmas illegally took money out of someone's account several times totaling just over $1,000 between January and March of 2021. An arrest warrant was developed, and O'Reilly said Christmas was arrested on Sept. 25 and charged with fourth-degree larceny and third-degree identity theft. He was unable to post a court-set bond of $50,000, and was given a court date in Stamford of Oct. 11, the arrest report said.
