ARLINGTON, VA — Police have charged an Arlington man in connection with a shooting incident that occurred Saturday night in the Green Valley neighborhood, according to an Arlington County Police Department release. An officer on an unrelated call heard a series of gunshots fired around 8:14 p.m. on Saturday in the 3200 block of 24th Street S. Other officers responded and established a perimeter. Searching the area, police recovered evidence of multiple gunshots being fired. Following an investigation of the incident, ACPD detectives determined that a disagreement between two people led up to the shooting. Police charged Mobley with malicious wounding, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony and discharge of a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school. He is currently being held without bond at the Arlington County Adult Detention Center. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 703-228-4180 or [email protected].
