Private family in Palm Beach seeks an experienced Housekeeper to assist in the daily cleaning, care, and service of their 20,000 square foot home. This position consists of a five-day workweek inclusive of one weekend day, either 8am – 4pm or 1pm – 9pm, rotating with two other Housekeepers. The candidate should be extremely detail-oriented, able to work with a large team of staff, and perform laundress duties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • All aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and upkeep of the residence • Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning • Completing the family’s laundry including washing and ironing clothes and sheets as needed • Superior organization skills and willingness to go above and beyond in all aspects of the job • Procurement of household supplies and groceries • Serving family meals as needed and providing formal service upon request for small dinner parties including table set-up • Management and organization of all closets, pantries, and storage areas • Maintaining residence for guest readiness at all times • Willingness to run routine errands such as dry cleaners, groceries, etc. • Additional Housekeeper responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the family Requirements: • Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal • Excellent references required from both current and previous employers • Minimum 7 - 10+ years of experience working in a private home • Valid Driver’s License a plus; confident driver with a clean driving record • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well • Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, and organization • Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times • Comfortable working in a home with children • Valid Driver’s License a major plus; confident driver with a clean driving record • Flexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours as needed • Legally able to work in the United States
