Here are the top stories today in Salt Lake City: Utah's home buying frenzy is calming down but prices are remaining high. The median sales price for a home in Utah jumped 26% from one year ago to $455,000. In August of 2020, the median sales price was $360,000. Homes for sale in Utah spent an average of 18 days on the market before going under contract. That's a decrease of nearly 54% from one year ago. (KSL.com)The 'Devious Licks' TikTok challenge has prompted changes at Murray High School. The TikTok challenge encourages students to destroy and vandalize school bathrooms. Murray High School is now charging attendees five dollars to attend any football games in order to pay for the damage to campus. While understanding of the fee, some parents believe the school should first try to identify and hold the guilty students accountable before they penalize the entire student body.
