Attention residents of unincorporated Arapahoe County: Take our survey on "Mother-in-Law" units to help inform potential changes to the Land Development Code.
Arapahoe County wants your feedback on Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), also known as "Mother-in-Law Dwellings. In recent years, the County has had several citizen requests to update the code to:
Allow ADUs that are attached, detached or within an existing dwelling Expand zoning designations outside agriculture or rural residential Allow properties smaller than 1.61 acres eligible for ADUs Allow for non-family living, which could include caretakers, nannies or renters Take the Survey on ADUs
