Here's are some events we think you might enjoy: 46th Annual Watershed Fest, Pennington: Gather at The Watershed Institute on Oct. 2, 6:30 p.m. to celebrate the Annual Watershed Fest. This year's festival will feature a ring of personal tents (hosting up to 10 people) around one Big Top tent. Enjoy campfires, and s'mores, specialty cocktails, music, dancing, food, and camp games. The Fest is the largest fundraising event of the year to support The Watershed Institute's programs and projects. Attendees will be asked to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Lawrence Township Community Day, Central Park, Lawrenceville: The township's Community Day is back after it being canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic. On Sunday, Oct. 3 from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m., the best of Lawrence Township will be on display. Expect lots of food trucks and vendors, a showcase of the Lawrence Police Department's drone, Fire Companies and their trucks, Public Works Wagon Rides, zip lines, music, and more. Pause 4 Paws: Raising the "Woof" at Ellarslie, Cadwalader Park, Trenton: People and pets are invited for a free day of pet-friendly activities and family fun on the grounds of the Trenton City Museum in Cadwalader Park Saturday, Oct 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees won't want to miss the non-denominational "Blessing of the Pets" at 11 a.m. followed by a day filled with activities, vendors, and special guests. Admission is free. Register in advance at www.ellarslie.org/pause-for-paws/. Upon arrival, attendees will be asked for proof of rabies vaccination for any pets in attendance and leash and/or carrier for pet(s). The event is partially funded through grant support from the Trenton Arts Fund of the Princeton Area Community Foundation. Music Fest Sundays, Palmer Square, Princeton: Spend your Sundays enjoying live performances on the Green, featuring the hits of a different decade. Enjoy music that defined the '60s, '70s, '80s, & '90s through today. Bring chairs and blankets for an afternoon of entertainment. Enjoy specialty shopping, food and drink, and fun for the whole family. It's Strictly 60's from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. followed by Joy & Rob with The Beagles, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Autumn Arts Afternoon, Nassau Park Pavilion, Princeton: The West Windsor Arts and Site Centers present Autumn Arts Afternoon, a day of art, movement, and fun on Oct. 2, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Located behind the Panera Bread in Nassau Park Pavilion, just off of Rt 1, Princeton, Autumn Arts Afternoon offers something for every member of the family. Four teaching artists will be stationed throughout the grounds with different interactive arts and crafts activities. A hula-hooping movement artist will also be present.
