EDGEWOOD, MD — A Dundalk woman is charged with arson after a domestic dispute this week in Harford County, according to investigators. Nobody was injured, officials said. Lorraine C. Winston, 38, of the 200 block of Center Street in Dundalk, is being held without bail in Harford County on multiple charges, including first-degree arson, court records show. Investigators said a bedroom fire broke out in a single-story duplex in Edgewood at 10:45 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27. Crews from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company responded to the 2000 block of Starr Street for a house fire, where they snuffed out the bedroom blaze within minutes. Everyone inside the home had escaped safely after reporting the fire, according to the fire marshal. The Harford County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene to handle a domestic dispute between Winston and other family members, the fire marshal said. Investigators said the fire caused $1,000 in damage, and it was intentionally set by Winston. She was charged with first-degree arson, first-degree malicious burning, second-degree malicious burning and reckless endangerment. A bail review hearing is slated for 1:30 p.m. at Harford County District Court.
