AUSTIN, TX — A small fire at the Travis County Democratic Party headquarters in downtown Austin Wednesday morning may have been caused by an incendiary device, authorities say.
The Austin Police Department said the fire was reported after 2:15 a.m. at 1311 E. Sixth Street. Austin fire said bystanders put out the fire with a fire extinguisher and the building had minor damage.
Fire officials said the case remains under investigation and says no other details were available at this time. There is no word on a suspect.
