The proposed project known as 831 Water Street has been scheduled for the City Council on September 14, 2021 via Zoom webinar. A public oversight meeting will be held to assess compliance with the City's objective standards criteria and accompanying density bonus request for this affordable housing project proposed pursuant to Senate Bill 35, Affordable Housing Streamlined Approval Process. The proposed project includes demolition of existing commercial buildings and construction of a five-story mixed-use building and a four-story residential building consisting of 2,727 square feet of ground floor retail and 145 residential units (50% of which will be affordable) with shared underground parking.
Agenda materials including the staff report and other information will not be available until 72 hours prior to the meeting, as required by state law; however, every effort will be made to have materials out the Friday before the meeting.
