The title pretty much sums it up. I went to see Flogging Molly last night at the Salvage Station, and I completely forgot how much I love live music. Not just listening to it, but playing it. Really experiencing it. I haven't played live since before the pandemic. One of the reasons why I moved to the area, was that I was looking forward to connecting with local musicians. Thanks Covid!! Who am I? 41 years old bass, acoustic, electric rhythm guitarist and vocalist. I've been playing for 26 years in a wide variety of original and cover bands. Tons of stage experience, pro gear, transportation, and a day job. Genres include rock, punk, metal, and industrial, but I also enjoy going acoustic with the same genres or heading in a folk direction. I also enjoy bluegrass, but I've never played it before. What am I looking for? Anything, really. I'd probably lean towards covers and tributes, because I just enjoy playing. A punk cover band would probably be high on my list, right now. I'll do originals, but I have to be onboard with the sound and direction. If any of this sounds interesting to you, hit me up.
