SEE FULL STORY: In Montco Visit, Gov. Wolf Praises County's 'Equitable' Vaccine Work NORRISTOWN, PA — Gov. Tom Wolf will be in Montgomery County on Wednesday to highlight the ongoing efforts at both the state and county level to vaccinate the remainder of the general public. The governor will swing by a mobile vaccination clinic in Norristown for a public appearance, where he's slated to address the work of officials to "get Pennsylvanians vaccinated where they are." Mobile clinics have been a part of both Montgomery County's and Pennsylvania's vaccination strategy from the start, as some of the county's most vulnerable residents were homebound and faced significant challenges in coming to a local clinic in-person. According to state officials, Wolf specifically will "to discuss efforts to get vulnerable Pennsylvanians vaccinated and encourage others to join them to stop the spread of COVID-19." It's the governor's second visit to Norristown in September, after he stopped at Hancock Elementary School to talk about the school mask mandate in early September. He was also in nearby Bridgeport just days later to survey damage from the remnants of Hurricane Ida. The event will take place at 12:30 p.m. at the Norristown Transportation Center.
