Youths Arrested On Suspicion Of Robbery: Glendora Police

GLENDORA, CA — Glendora police arrested two 16-year-old boys Sunday accused of stealing a woman's purse. One boy is from Upland, while the other is from Colton, according to the Glendora Police Department. The two were arrested on suspicion of robbery and sent to juvenile hall. A woman was in downtown Glendora around 1:15 p.m. when one of the boys grabbed her purse, police said. The boy then ran toward a waiting car driven by the other teenager. Several good samaritans were able to stop the boys from leaving until police arrived, authorities said. Anyone with information about the theft can contact Det. Jonathan Salinas by email.
