Good post—-Joe McCarthy is probably the most wrongly maligned and slandered politician in US history. Trump might be the second. A man much wiser than me said there were 3 great men of American history: 1. George Washington to give us the leadership to win our independence then turn down a dictatorship (it was offered to him). 2. Ronald Reagan who won the Cold War and defeated The USSR style communism 3. You guessed it Joe McCarthy who saved the US from communist internal takeover in the 1950s. Oh yes, Picture is of McCarthy who was also a highly decorated war veteran.
