Here are the top stories today in Atlanta: The man accused of Atlanta's fatal spa shootings pleads not guilty. Robert Aaron Long, 22, who is accused of fatally shooting eight people in three metro Atlanta massage parlors, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to four murder charges in Atlanta. In late July, the self-proclaimed ATL spa shooter pleaded guilty on all charges for shooting and killing four spa workers at a Cherokee County massage parlor on March 16, the same day he was charged with fatally shooting workers in Atlanta. Although he was given a life sentence by a Cherokee County judge, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is seeking the death penalty. (Atlanta Patch) A man armed with a bow and arrow carjacked a woman at 1438 West Peachtree Street, Atlanta, just before 6:15 a.m. Tuesday and was later shot by a Marietta police officer. After the man fired an arrow into the victim's windshield, demanding she get out, the woman immediately complied. The suspect fled Midtown in her 2014 Toyota Camry, later striking a Cobb Country bridge, where he was found at 7:10 a.m. by Cobb County and Marietta police. Police said the suspect pointed the compound bow at officers, one of whom fired their handgun at the suspect, who was hit but alert, conscious and breathing when taken to the hospital. Nearly 81,000 emergency responders throughout Georgia will be eligible for the one-time bonuses, according to an announcement Monday by Gov. Brian Kemp. Up to $100 million in bonuses will come out of federal COVID-19 relief funds approved by Congress in March. (Atlanta Patch)A herd of goats entertained onlookers by gathering in front of a furniture store in Buckhead. The herd, including 40 goats and three Great Pyrenees herding dogs from Get Your Goat Rentals, was supposed to be eating weeds and bush on a nearby overgrown lot. Instead, the animals made their way to a grassy area in front of Rooms to Go near the intersection of Piedmont and Peachtree.
