The Anchorage Hilton Hotel is currently seeking a hardworking and professional Maintenance Technician to join our team! We are the largest full service hotel with 606 rooms located in downtown Anchorage. The hotel has a full service restaurant, bar, room service, concierge lounge, exercise room, indoor pool and 20,000 sq. ft of functional event space. The main responsibilities of our Maintenance Technicians are: -Maintain all building related systems to ensure the safety of hotel guests, associates, and vendors. -Perform preventative maintenance programs and procedures in guest rooms. -Complete work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to maintain the hotel. -Respond in a courteous manner to all radio calls, guest questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction. -Assist in checking and making routine repairs throughout the hotel. -Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters. -Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors windows and counters. Paint and finish furniture and fixtures if needed. Basic maintenance experience is preferred.
