Looking for musicians to start a working band.
Currently looking for musicians to play the better paying gigs. My forte is playing keys but I've been playing bass, (including upright bass) guitar, mandolin, violin, sq neck dobro, and banjo for quite sometime and I feel I'm pretty proficient.
Of course I'm not bringing all these instruments to the gigs. LOL
I own a full professional PA and light show and I have booked shows for all the bands I have played in so the connections are there. I have also done plenty of touring.
I will provide the PA, lights, and book shows that pay well!
I am looking for player/players to store, transport, and setup the PA.
I'm pretty open to the kind of music we do just as long as it's marketable and makes the people dance! I come from a Southern Rock and Country background but I have been in several types of bands including originals.
I suppose playing keyboards would be my first choice but I love to shred on the mandolin too.
No drama and no hard drugs around the band. What you do on your own time is your own biz.
I'm not one to tell people how to live their life, I just don't wanna have to search for you in the parking lot after a set break that has gone too long. Been there done that.
I'm also cool with sticking to gigs that provide sound and lights, or pay enough to hire a sound company. I have a good one that will do it for $250 last time I checked, if he's available. I was planning on selling the PA and lights anyways and thought maybe they could still be useful, I just can't do the heavy lifting anymore.
If you love to jam this is gonna be a lot of fun for you!
Thanks!
