Description

God is in control. He ordains all of time and all of creation as He will. His call is too often ignored or misunderstood by worldly people; yet, He uses and calls who He will. The call to proclaim God's salvation, which is offered to us all in Christ, is overwhelming and all encompassing. For the preacher who is called, there is no choice but to tell the story about Jesus. Preaching the gospel is addictive. It is a delight to be a herald for the Lord. The world has become so hardened toward God. They have closed themselves off from Him. We do the best we can to share the love of God with people where they are: trusting God for the words. We are called and instructed to tell Christ's story to everyone. Some will hear, believe, and be saved. God brings His will to bear as He purposes. Life is easier to understand and better for it for those who stay in His will. He reveals His will to us in His time as we go. God is preparing each of us for the time He will use us to fulfill His purpose. There are no bench warmers in God's kingdom. Amen ;)
