Hi, I'm looking to start a group to play these genres. I'd like to find people who would be able to rehears in Placitas or nearby, and who could rehearse nearly every week at first. I will play lead guitar. I read sheet music and chord charts and have studied jazz improvisation. I know a lot of covers and jazz tunes. I'd like to find some combination of the following: Drummer, Bass Player, Keyboard player, vocalist, lyricist/songwriter, possibly horn or string player and eventually a manager. We'd be starting with reharsals to get tight and then start playing gigs. I prefer ability to read charts and to memorize tunes. Feel free to reach out. Thanks
