How small minded. Species have been going extinct for millions of years, long before we got here. We just happen to be hear to witness what has always been happening. It is called evolution and yes we will go extinct at some point in time. Maybe it will happen next year when an asteroid hits us, just like what happened millions of years ago. When Mt St Helens blew up, it put more pollution into the atmosphere than all the cars in the world have put out since they were invented. This has been happening since the beginning of the planet. Stop global whining.
