Small, local company is hiring 2+ individuals to join our crew. This position is hourly, Competitive Pay DOE. Rigging and/or Crating/Crate building desired but not required, we will train a motivated individual. Construction experience a plus. Ability to read construction prints a major plus. Job Summary Perform rigging services for production tools and industrial/commercial equipment, including installation, relocation, removal, and demolition. Execute field machining and parts modification. Install seismic restraints and equipment pedestals. Fabricate crates and crate equipment. Install, modify, and repair buildings and structures. Basic Requirements 1. Must have proof of vaccination for COVID-19 upon hire. 2. Ability to understand & follow directions, asks questions when unsure. 3. Ability to be on time, ready to start every workday. 4. Ability to pass a standard background check & pre-employment drug screening. 5. Valid Driver’s License 6. The ability to work and function in a cleanroom environment. 7. Demonstrate ability to operate a forklift. 8. Demonstrate ability to use and operate all required tools and equipment. Job Specific Requirements/Expectations 1. Perform safely and in accordance with site safety protocols. Report all injuries, incidents, or near misses to foreman immediately. 2. Take required precautions when handling equipment exposed to hazardous materials. 3. Take responsibility and ownership for all assignments. 4. Maintain tools and equipment. Notify foreman of equipment and supplies needs prior to becoming critical. 5. Keep assigned staging and storage areas neat and clean. 6. Assist with delivery of materials and supplies when necessary. 7. Communicate and coordinate directly with other trades. 8. Zero impact to production. 9. Take all reasonable care to prevent damage to customer facilities. Report any damage to foreman immediately. 10. Zero violations of safety and cleanroom protocols. 11. Fill out weekly time logs accurately and legibly. 12. Dressing and appearance suitable for interaction with customer. 13. Represent MVRC professionally and in a way that is a positive reflection on MVRC in attitude, behavior, and professional treatment of customers, vendors, and anyone you come in contact with as an employee of MVRC.
