My name is Josh and I am a professional drummer and private drum instructor and I currently have openings for new drum students. A little about me I am originally from the Rexburg area. I attended Madison High School and was part of the band and orchestra programs there. I graduated in 2002. After high school I attended Idaho State University and got a BM in Music Performance with percussion being my instrument of concentration. Today I am still an active gigging player. I perform live as well as in the studio and I have been teaching private drum lessons since 2008. As an instructor my goal is to help guide you to achieving yours. I center my lessons around the individual needs of the student. I teach many different drumming subjects including but not limited to drum rudiments, basic beats, how to play fills, how to play advanced beats, how to read music, playing between different styles, working with a click/backing track, and more. To help you get started in drum lessons I am offering an introductory package of 4 Drum Lessons for $99. Please note that these are virtual lessons and while I have used a variety of different video streaming services for lessons Zoom does tend to work the best and is the platform I would recommend most.
