PMI Iowa is actively hiring a Painter. This position is located in Ames, IA. In this role, you will be responsible for prepping and painting various projects for the manlift towers and millwright jobs. This position requires great time management skills and the ability to work independently for long periods of time. PMI Iowa is a family-owned company focused on providing millwright and lift solutions to thousands of customers throughout the Midwest. Job Responsibilities: • Clean, prepare, and assess material for final disposition • Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and completeness • Maintain and repair paint booth equipment to standards • Order paints and other materials Requirements: • High school diploma/GED • At least 1 year of industrial painting experience preferred • Ability to operate a variety of powered, hand-held drills, grinders, and saws, as well as non-powered tools • Knowledge and experience handling paint mixtures and thinners Benefits: • Healthcare coverage • Dental and vision insurance • Disability and life insurance • Paid vacations and holidays PMI Iowa is eager to welcome a new team member.
