Progressive Pay Scale $14.00 Starting Pay $15.00 After 90 Days and enrollment into apprenticeship program $20.00 - $25.00 Upon completion of a 4 year program your pay will be in this range as mandated by the Florida Department of Labor for Certified Apprentices Apprenticeship Performance Period When applying for the apprenticeship position there are a few things you need to know. We only have 2 spots available Apprenticeship positions are extremely limited here. Making it to apprenticeship can be difficult. When starting here your employment is a trial position. This is not a guaranteed apprenticeship until you first pass your 14 day performance period, a period to determine your physical and mental abilities, followed by the traditional 90 day probationary period which allows Stuart’s Plumbing to assess your employment as a whole over a longer period of time. If for any reason in the first 14 days you are found lacking in the necessary skills required for enrollment in the apprenticeship program, your employment will be terminated. Once you have past the 14 day period, we tend to coach more and offer constructive feedback on how you can improve to better fit into our program. If we determine that your pace, motivation or focus is not able to keep up with the daily needs then your opportunity will end. Basic skills required but not limited to: Digging Use of wheelbarrow Able to carry buckets Understanding of basic hand tools: Reciprocating saw, Drill, knife, cutters, screw drivers, channels locks, and pry bar (to name a few) Understanding of basic safety Balance Communication skills Building rapport with coworkers Cleanliness Timeliness Transportation Pace Motor Skills Apply at
