Description
Kona is a great dog. Obedient, loving, protector. She is 3 1/2 years old and has beautiful black brown and white coloring. Does not get along with other dogs. She is a working dog, we believe she is a german shephard mix. We adopted her from a rescue and she has become a great dog. But since she doesn't like other dogs, and we have a small yard in the suburbs, we are not able to keep her anymore and want her to go to a good home on a lot of land to keep her busy. Ideally Kona would be a great fit as a cattle ranch dog. I've taken her on trail rides and she follows along and doesn't bother horses. We run her in the fields, take her hiking, biking, and skiing, she follows along and does great if there aren't other dogs around where she will get defensive. She is great as a protector, doesn't chase cows, sits and watches them, but keeps out predators and thieves. She gets along with our border collie because she warmed up to him, but not many other dogs. She is up to date on vaccines. We used a dog trainer when she was younger and she knows sit, come, stay, down, go to crate, go to bed, walks well on a leash. She does not do well at a dog park.
