Seeking a full time educational assistant/hall monitor for our K-8th grade school. The position does various jobs around the school, including but not limited to: setting up and tearing down tents and seating so that students can eat outside, supervising recess and lunch, basic first aid for injured students, contacting parents of students who are ill, and assisting teachers as needed in classrooms. Students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates must be committed to working with diverse student and community populations. Candidates should: --Have a warm and caring personality --Communicate well with children and adults. Candidates must: --Be authorized to work in the US --Pass a criminal background check to work in a school environment --Be able to lift 50 pounds First Aid/CPR certification, bloodborne pathogens training certification and food handler's card holders preferred.
