Looking for a jazz-capable bassist (age doesn’t matter) who is familiar with popular Miles Davis / Coltrane stuff who loves playing and doesn’t mind starting a group from the ground up. We are: 32 year old Pianist / Trumpeter / Guitarist who also collects every jazz record he can find 32 year old drummer with 18 years of live show experience and 26 years behind the kit. We’d like to get a few standards together and maybe record some tunes, possibly gig locally as well. Open to original tunes as well once we get settled. We are more into the bebop side of things but also like modal, hard bop, and cool jazz as well.
