Cat and dog to be re-homed!

It is with a heavy heart I post this, my family has been served a very sudden and unexpected eviction notice as our landlord is selling our home of 5 years, we have been trying every way possible to keep both our dog Dash (5y pit beagle mix) and cat Shelby (9y tortie) whom we love very much, however we are finding it very difficult to find rental properties in our price range accepting pets and our time is running out. So I am reaching out in an attempt to re-home rather than surrender these sweet loving animals. *Shelby is very mellow cuddly and playful even in her seniority, will have to be properly introduced to other animals but I feel she could do well with them. She was adopted from petsmart charities 4 years ago. *Dash is a wonderful dog he was rescued from a very abusive situation via Craigslist a year and a half ago- he doesn't have a violent bone in his body but his trauma doesn't mix well with other dogs- he is great with kids and non dog pets! A snuggle bug through and through! He loves to play and tummy rubs! ...My children, partner, and I will be heartbroken but at the end of it all I have to take care of my humans first 😞
