Assembly, a rapidly growing seed stage meal kit and virtual event company, is hiring a Distribution Associate to assist in our culinary production operations. Ideal candidates have experience in warehouse / supply chain operations, packaged goods and logistics. Position Summary: Working as a distribution associate, you will provide critical support in helping us assembly meal kits that will be delivered across the United States. You will be trained in a range of processes in an exciting, busy atmosphere whilst working to specific deadlines. Key Responsibilities: As a Distribution Associate you may be asked to work in various areas of the building, the main departments being product assembly and distribution. Tasks may include: Handling the full range of goods including but not limited to: age restricted products, food (including nuts and meat) and alcohol and chemicals. Efficiently and effectively receiving and storing goods. Accurately pack and ship our customer orders to ensure we meet customers' high expectations Consistently achieve targets set for your department Adhere to safety, quality and production standards BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Key Skills and Experience: Good team player, as well as able to work alone Food portioning and prep Extreme attention to detail Ability to accurately count repeatedly Able to shift focus and adapt to immediate changes Excellent communication Ability to work with tight deadlines Enthusiastic, can-do attitude Can follow written and verbal instructions PHYSICAL DEMANDS The role involves the following physical demands on a daily basis: Lifting and moving products up to 50lbs in weight Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching, and/or stretching Pushing and pulling product up to 50lbs in weight Manual dexterity of both hands and wrists Standing for long periods of time.
