1st Choice Solutions is a licensed General Contractor firm that specializes in restoration and reconstruction of residential and commercial properties in the Chicago-land area. 1st Choice Solutions provides services to properties affected by Water, flood, fire, and mold damage. Currently, 1st Choice Solutions works with over 60 insurance carriers and is a part of more than 10 Third Party Administrative programs. We are currently looking for full-time general labor individuals to become a part of our team. General Labor Technicians are required to be highly disciplined, structured, and skillful. 1st Choice Solutions is looking for individuals with a determination to get the job done as well as the disposition to keep learning. Responsibilities: Technicians will be under the supervision and management of the department managers (Construction, Mitigation and Contents) and will be doing the following as part of their day-to-day duties: Content Pack Outs, Pack ins and Content Cleaning Water Mitigation and Structure Cleanings Emergency Services (Board up and tarps) Demolition and other light construction work Emergency Services such as tarps, stabilization, and board-ups. Skills: Individual is willing to learn & continue to learn! Has a positive attitude Can work well with others Can easily communicate with teammates, managers, and customers. Can work well under pressure and in strenuous situations A general labor technician at 1st Choice Solutions is expected to be professional, presentable, kind, and empathetic to the company, its employees, and its customers.
