Adorable young kitty needs good home

We took this sweet girl in during a heatwave a couple of months ago. She had lost her owner but was clearly used to home life. She is affectionate and energetic, loves to play, and will curl up on your lap and purr with gusto. Adaptable and unafraid of strangers, uses the litter box like an old pro. We would keep her but life circumstances prevent it. She has gotten all her shots (including boosters), is flea-free, negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and, according to the vet, between one and two years old. Has not been spayed or chipped. We want to find her a good home that can give her care and attention. Small adoption fee; vet reference preferred.
