JOB DESCRIPTION
• The Racker is responsible for all tasks involved in Unpack, Inspect, Rack, load bars, and occasionally Run work on
the line, Unrack, dry, and repack parts.
• Locates and identifies material as assigned by lead or Supervisor
• Obtains racks from storage that are needed for the particular parts as mentioned on work instruction or instructed by
supervisor
• Removes parts from containers inspect, count, and rack parts on the bar.
• Keeps accurate counts of parts and attaches work ticket with bar.
• Notifies Supervisor of any quality, counts, mechanical, and/or material issues.
• Removes racks from the line/bar and stores racks when not needed
• Obtains racks from storage that are needed for the next production part.
• Keeps assigned work and storage areas clean, litter free and safe at all times.
• Keeps all unused racking and framing components in designated areas at all times
• Manage time efficiently to meet and exceed Daily schedule
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATION
• Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently and safely
• Ability to perform visual inspection on parts
• Attention to detail and ability to be incredibly careful with fragile parts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and work well with others
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instruction and procedure
• Use hand tools such screw drivers, wrenches, pliers etc.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Proper PPE must be worn at all times.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers.
• Frequent reaching with hands and arms.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Wear gloves and safety glasses
• Ability to work in hot and humid production area
• Constant standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting
