This exclusive event is by invitation only for 150 retailers and paid members of CBUS Retail. (Registrations are on a first come basis and require a valid retail email address). CBUS Retail would like to show our appreciation for the wonderful group of retail professionals in our community by inviting you for a delightful evening of festivities, cocktails and networking. One Degree of Retail is a unique event that brings together our community of leaders focused on accelerating Columbus' position as the global capital for retail & eCommerce talent, innovation, and collaboration. By registering for the One Degree of CBUS Retail event, you agree to this waiver: Those choosing to attend the 2021 One Degree of CBUS Retail event in-person on October 13th, 2021, at the BrewDog in New Albany, Ohio (“Venue”) must agree to the terms of this Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Claims (“Waiver”). I am attending the event voluntarily, and at my own risk and understand that by attending I risk being exposed to or infected with COVID-19 as a result of my actions or those of other attendees or participants including the Venue’s employees and CBUS Retail's officers, directors, employees, or agents. I hereby release, for myself, my heirs, and personal representatives , and do forever discharge, indemnify and hold harmless CBUS Retail, its directors, officers, staff, agents, members, and representatives, from any and all claims, liabilities, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of, in connection with, or relating to my attending or participating in the event including, without limitation, any illness, damages, or injury resulting from my travel to and from, and attendance at, the event, participation in activities related to the event, exposure to an infectious disease (including COVID-19) or the manner in which the event or its related activities are conducted (collectively, “Claims”). I understand and agree that this Waiver includes any Claims based on the actions, errors, omissions, or negligence of CBUS Retail, its directors, officers, staff, agents, members, and representatives. I acknowledge that it is my obligation to follow all recommended health and safety measures while attending the event, including Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, as well as statutes, regulations, and other mandates applicable to the event (collectively, “Guidance”). I understand that the Guidance will continue to evolve over time. Note on photo usage: With registration or attendance, I permit CBUS Retail to use images, audio, and video with myself or my property for purposes of publicity, illustration, advertising, commercial art, publishing, or any other use and agree to the lawful disposition in any manner, without any royalty or compensation to me. I further waive any right to review or approve any use of images, audio, or video.
